# Version0004 — approximate ULG overlay

The combined view uses an explicitly assumed WGS84 / UTM33S frame. The issuer drawing does not identify its datum. This is an approximate visualization, not a geographically validated exploration survey.

Printed grid controls: eastings493000,493500,494000 and494500 at source x31,157,283 and409. Northings7546000,7545500 and7545000 at y67,194 and320. Easting=493000+(x−31)×500/126; northing=7546000+(67−y)×500/126.5. The independent internal east tick closes exactly; the middle north tick differs by about2m (0.5source pixels). These residuals measure grid regularity, not real-world positional accuracy.

The unshifted candidate lands at about14.939852E,22.194890S. Regional location and the broad ridge/drainage fabric are consistent with the public Erongo setting and the separately acquired Sentinel basemap. No empirical shift was applied. No surveyed holdout controls were recovered, and datum/systematic uncertainty is unquantified. The old Bessel/Albers licence attachment is not treated as the CRS of this drawing.

The local terrain uses Copernicus GLO30 DSM, EGM2008 metres, acquisition2011–2015, at true elevation scale. The local satellite layer uses B04/B03/B02 from30September2026, at10m display sampling. SCL coverage and exact acquisition timestamp are in ulg-terrain.json. Provider-georeferenced terrain and imagery align with each other; this does not validate the exploration overlay.

Source pixels remain in each feature’s sourcePoints and in the untouched ulg-map scene. Symbols and partial trench strokes are draped for display only. Toggle Approximate overlay to inspect the terrain alone. Original/Compare views remain available in the trench highlight tab.
